The Book(ish) Box, March 2018
I have a shopping problem. I recently subscribed to a ton of book/bookish boxes. I'm going to need another job just to afford all these. Here's my unboxing of The Book(ish) Box for March.
The theme for this month was Cover Lust.

This box ships all over the world.
Check out more info about the box here.
Shirt inspired by Shatter Me ($22)
This shirt was created by The Bookish Shop. I really like their t-shirts.
Pretty shirt!
Grisha Tea
This Grisha Special Blend is from Riddle's Tea Shoppe. It is a blend of Blood Orange, Wild Strawberry, and Vanilla. I'm trying to drink more tea and this blend sounds good.
Fangirl Wall Decor ($12)
This wall decor is by Hello World Paper Co. Fangirl was a cute story. I already put this up in my library. Super cute!
Pride & Prejudice Inspired Lotion ($7)
This body lotion is by Latherati. I'll take anything inspired by Pride & Prejudice. I love that book. This is a really nice body lotion.
Infernal Devices Art Print ($3-$5?)
This art print of Jem from the Infernal Devices series (which I still haven't read) is by Kristin Askland. Pretty print that would look nice in a frame.
Shatter Me Inspired Coaster Art
This coaster art is by Angela Porter. I never read the Shatter Me series and I've heard mixed things about it.
Monthly Doodle & Harry Potter Friendship Art Print ($5)
Cute doodle by Doodles by Christina that you can color and a cool looking Harry Potter art print by Gabriella Bujdoso for the month of April. They have been including an art print for every month in their boxes.
The Final Six by Alexandra Monir (YA Book)
I've heard of this book and it does sound interesting.
Synopsis
When Leo, an Italian championship swimmer, and Naomi, a science genius from California, are two of the twenty-four teens drafted into the International Space Training Camp, their lives are forever altered. After erratic climate change has made Earth a dangerous place to live, the fate of the population rests on the shoulders of the final six who will be scouting a new planet. Intense training, global scrutiny, and cutthroat opponents are only a few of the hurdles the contestants must endure in this competition.
For Leo, the prospect of traveling to Europa—Jupiter’s moon—to help resettle humankind is just the sense of purpose he’s been yearning for since losing his entire family in the flooding of Rome. Naomi, after learning of a similar space mission that mysteriously failed, suspects the ISTC isn’t being up front with them about what’s at risk.
As the race to the final six advances, the tests get more challenging—even deadly. With pressure mounting, Naomi finds an unexpected friend in Leo, and the two grow closer with each mind-boggling experience they encounter. But it’s only when the finalists become fewer and their destinies grow nearer that the two can fathom the full weight of everything at stake: the world, the stars, and their lives.
Every box comes with an information card listing all the items inside.
What did you think of The Bookish Box for March? I recommend this box if you love bookish goodies. I think I have one more YA box for April and then I downgraded to the Women's Bookish Box for May.

No shame. 😁) This is a monthly box that comes with one middle grade book and several awesome goodies. Check out Owlcrate Jr. for more information.
See below for everything I received in the July Owlcrate Jr.! I'm not going to comment on the items that came in the box because I just want to show you the items so you can decide if you'd like to subscribe. I did love everything that came in this box!

Never Goodnight by Coco Moodysson (graphic novel)
This graphic novel currently has a 3.63 star rating on Goodreads. This looks very cool. I can't wait to read it!!
Retail Value: $18.99 Amazon Price: $14.45
Goodreads synopsis:
The cult Swedish graphic novel that inspired the critically acclaimed Lukas Moodysson film ‘We Are the Best!’
Coco, Klara and Mathilda have known each other since primary school, where they met in Folk Dancing class. Now they’re almost teenagers, and their anarchist ideals and dreams of forming a world-beating punk band set them apart from the other girls at school. They can’t play any instruments, practice with pillows and pans, and keep getting told that punk is dead. But they’re not going to let any of those things get in their way…
Published in English for the first time, Never Goodnight is a hilarious and life-affirming memoir that will remind you that all you need in life is your best friends, a can of hairspray and three guitar chords.

They also included a cute bookmark and the always wonderful caramel apple lollipop!
Paper Girls by Brian K. Vaughn, Cliff Chiang and Matt Wilson (Comic Issue #1)
I've been wanting to read this and I'm so excited that it was included in this box. This looks really good and it's written by Brian K. Vaughn who wrote the Saga series (which is awesome!!!). I'm also happy that this is the first issue. This currently has a 4.33 star rating on Goodreads.
Retail Value: $2.99
Goodreads synopsis:
SAGA writer BRIAN K. VAUGHAN launches a brand-new ONGOING SERIES with superstar Wonder Woman artist CLIFF CHIANG!
In the early hours after Halloween of 1988, four 12-year-old newspaper delivery girls uncover the most important story of all time.
Stand By Me meets War of the Worlds in this mysterious young adult adventure.

Imaginary Girl Bands by Gemma Flack (Zine)
Gemma Flack has a shop on Etsy which I have to check out. This is a cute zine!!
Retail Value: $3.70
Phonograph Bead Bracelet and Cassette Box
This bracelet is so cool and the cassette box it came in is sweet. The card states that these bracelets are made from vulcanite, the same material that records were once made of. How cool is that?!! These bracelets were made by the girls at Landfall Freight. Awesome!
Glue Compressor Stickers
These are cool stickers designed by Etsy artisan Ivonna Buenrosto. I love these stickers.
DIY Bookplate
They include a DIY item in every box and this is really cool and unique. You can color it and glue it on your favorite book to make sure they know who it belongs to.
Tara's Take: I really love this subscription. I'm a fan of graphic novels and comics and it's so cool that the majority of the graphic novels and comics included in this subscription feature women and/or are illustrated by women. That makes this subscription really unique and awesome. This sub is definitely a keeper and I can't wait to see what's inside the December box.
