FairyLoot, March 2018 (Memorable Moments)

Here is my unboxing of the March FairyLoot book subscription box.  😊

Fairyloot is a U.K. based book subscription box.  These boxes include a young adult fantasy book (new release) and several bookish goodies.

Price:  GBP £26 (around $35 USD) plus shipping for a monthly box.

They also offer 3 and 6 month prepaid subscriptions.

Shipping costs vary by location.  Shipping to the U.S. was around $19.99 (it's definitely not cheap to receive this box in the U.S.)

Fairyloot ships to most countries.
You can find out more information about this box here

Exclusive Rune Ceremony Scarf

I really like this scarf.  This cool looking scarf is by FictionTea Designs and is inspired by the rune ceremonies in The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare.

Exclusive Goblet of Fire Candle

This candle is by Paper Flames Candle Co and it the scent of fresh bread and chocolate.  It is a very tiny candle (even though it looks big in this photo).  I really like the smell and look of this candle.

Inspired by Bilbo's birthday party in The Lord of the Rings this vegan soap by Geeky Clean smells wonderful.  It has a vanilla and strawberry cake scent!

Toast To The Warden of The North Hot Chocolate

I love hot chocolate and it's been a while since I've had any.  This hot chocolate is by Eponine and is inspired by Game of Thrones.  Oh, Jon Snow, you gorgeous man..🔥

These promotional items (bookmark + pin) for the ya book The Belles were also included in the box.

The fantasy book for the month was State of Sorrow by Melinda Salisbury.  I had never heard of this book before but it sounds interesting.  Fairyloot sent an exclusive hardcover edition of the book (the standard editions are all paperback).

Book Synopsis (from Goodreads)
Sorrow - for that is all she brings us.
A people laid low by grief and darkness.
A cut-throat race for power and victory.
A girl with everything and nothing to lose…
By day, Sorrow governs the Court of Tears, covering for her grief-maddened father, who has turned their once celebrated land into a living monument for the brother who died before she was born.
By night, she seeks solace in the arms of the boy she's loved since childhood. But one ghost won't stop haunting her, and when enemies old and new close ranks against her, Sorrow must decide how far she's willing to go to win...
Be swept away by the dark and dangerous new world from Melinda Salisbury, bestselling author of The Sin Eater's Daughter trilogy

They included a signed bookplate by the author.

They also included an author letter and a postcard.

Every Fairyloot comes with a Fairyscoop that features interviews with the author and other cool information.

Fairyloot also includes a bookmark and a spoiler card for the month.

What did you think of the March Fairyloot?  This was my first box from them and I really enjoyed everything they included.  My favorite items were the scarf, the cork bunting, and I can't wait to read the book.  I just wish the shipping wasn't so expensive but I'm going to stay subscribed to this box for now.
